Jim Carrey's on-off girlfriend Cathriona White, a 28-year-old Irish make-up artist, has committed suicide, according to law enforcement sources. She was found dead at her Los Angeles home on Monday night, according to reports, after two friends showed up at the residence to check on her.
News of her death comes just five days after she broke up with the Ace Ventura actor, 53, for a second time. Miss White, originally from Cappawhite, Co. Tipperary, reportedly broke up with Carrey on September 24, the same day she wrote a worrying message on Twitter that read: 'Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest,' (pictured below). Her last post on Instagram meanwhile was a haunting black-and-white self-portrait (below). It is believed that White died from a drug overdose. May her soul rest in peace
