Stepping into the shoes of Kim Kardashian is not as simple as it might seem, according to an editor who tried to live just like the reality star for an entire week. Sally Holmes, Senior News Editor at Elle, undertook the task in honor of Kim's newly-published selfie book, Selfish, attempting to mirror everything from her fashion and her beauty to her body and her daily routine. The result is a four-part online series, of which two parts have been released.
In the first installment, Sally takes on the challenge of dressing in a different famous Kim outfit each day, most of which involved a lot of expense, discomfort and, Sally admits, a lot of Spanx. Kim Kardashian is brave - like really, really brave. And has more confidence than an entire lacrosse team of Abercrombie & Fitch models,' Sally wrote in her first article of the series.
'I, on the other hand, do not. This is what I learned from dressing like Kim Kardashian for a week.'
Sally goes on to document the reasoning behind her outfit choices, explaining that she wanted to try and go for a full variety of Kim's most-recognizable looks, but noting that she doesn't believe she has the curves to pull them all off.

This opinion of herself quickly changed, however, as she donned the star's figure-hugging A.L.C. crop top and skirt combo, originally worn by Kim . 'I put on the green skirt and crop top (crop top! ahhh!) and looked in the mirror,' she wrote. 'CURVES. EVERYWHERE.'
