The wife of the president, will now be addressed as Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari following the release of her official portrait. She will also be addressed as the wife of the president and not First Lady. President Muhammadu Buhari married Aisha (née Halilu) in December 1989 and their marriage is blessed with five children, a boy and four girls. They are Aisha, Halima, Yusuf, Zarah and Amina.
