An early morning inferno involving a tanker loads of PMS occurred and as at 7:15 am fire service is yet to arrive at the scene. Eye witness said the tanker fell off while climbing the highway leading to the Ikorodu General Hospital immediately after a Mobil filling station in Ebute Area of Ikorodu.
All road is condoned off from General Hospital as well as Police Post in Ebute. The tanker fell off around 6:15am. It can not be confirmed if any life was lost in the inferno but many livestock was affected because the tanker fell into a drainage towards the abattoir.
Also we can not confirm if the three storey hotel opposite the abattoir and the LagBus park belonging to Worldwide a franchise of LagBus were affected. See more pictures below....
