IG restores Speaker’s Police escorts

Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Suleiman Abba

Reports say the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Suleiman Abba, today restored the police escorts of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, few days after the Department of State Service, DSS did the same thing.

A source at the office of the Speaker confirmed that policemen had arrived Tambuwal’s residence to resume duties, almost six months after they were withdrawn.
