Sefiu Alao loses wife

Fuji musician, Sefiu Alao, popularly called ‘Original Omo Oko’ is bereaved. He is said to have lost his wife to heart attack on Monday.

According to sources close to the family, who confirmed the sad event, late Mrs. Adekunle had left her homein Abeokuta to visit a member of her family in Lagos. The mother of four reportedly arrived Lagos on Sunday and shortly after eating dinner, complained of stomach ache.

She was rushed to a hospital for treatment, but died shortly after arriving there. Sefiu Alao’s home in Abeokuta was besieged by sympathisers on Tuesday.
The corpse of the deceased was brought to Abeokuta on Tuesday amidst tears from friends, family, and associates.

She was buried on Tuesday according to Islamic rites in Abeokuta.
